Grind City Amp is located at Grind City Brewing Company in Uptown, Memphis

Grind City Amp has FREE a parking lot directly south of the venue accessible at the intersection of North Front St. & Hickory Ave. It is an approximately ten (10) minute or .5 mile walk from the parking lot to the front gates.

Paid Premium parking may be available for select events. See the event description for more information.

Both the Premium and Free Parking lots are monitored by venue security. Both lots are “first come, first serve.” Overflow parking is available in the neighborhood and at XXXXXX

Cash Less Venue

Grind City Amp is a cashless venue. All bars and vendors are equipped for digital payments only.

Clear Bag and Bag Inspections

For the safety of our staff and guests, GCMF will limit the size and type of bags entering the venue and enforce the following Clear Bag Policy:
All bags must be completely clear OR smaller than 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches
All bags will be measured and searched upon entry
There is no storage available onsite for prohibited bags. If you bring a prohibited bag, you will be able to return it to your vehicle before entering the venue.
All bags will be searched upon entry. Guests have the right to refuse a bag search and the venue has the right to refuse entry. If you have any items that are not allowed into the venue, please return them to your vehicle or discard them into the appropriate trash receptacles at the entry gates. Refer to the Permitted Items section for more information.

Inclement Weather

Events at Grind City Amphitheater are on rain or shine!

In the event of severe weather (including lightning or severe high winds), a concert may be delayed, postponed, or cancelled depending on the severity of the threat.

Please monitor the Grind City social media channels for weather and show status updates. If severe weather threatens while patrons are onsite, Grind City Music Festival management will also make official announcements via the PA system, video screens, and event staff.

Accessibility

There is dedicated accessible seating in both the General Admission and Seated setups.

For GA shows, patrons can purchase a normal ticket to the event. There is a dedicated viewing area near the front of house mix position (the sound board – about 80ft directly in front of center stage) for every GA show. Patrons can freely access the area and are welcome to ask any Grind City Amp team member for assistance at any point during your visit to the venue.

For seated events, ADA Accessible and ADA Companion seats are available for purchase at the event ticketing page. These can be found in both the “Best Available Seat” and “Choose Your Seat” options.

Service Animals

Grind City Amphitheater’s policy – consistent with the ADA standard definition – limits a “service animal” to a dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability.

Under ADA standards, “comfort,” “therapy,” or “emotional support animals” do not meet the definition of a service animal. GCMF can request specific documentation and/or advanced notice for service animals.

Concessions and merchandise stands accept all major credit cards. This event is cashless!

Signs larger than 8.5 X 11 inches are not permitted in the venue. This is the size of a standard sheet of paper. Large banners and signs are not allowed in the venue due to the potential to block guests view of the performance. All signs must be appropriate in nature and not a distraction to the artist.

The standard venue policy allows camera phones, disposable cameras, and small digital cameras. Any camera that has a detachable lens will be considered professional and not allowed in. If the camera lens zooms out of the camera more than 1 inch, it will be considered a professional camera and will not be allowed through security.

Cancellations can occur in the event of severe weather, artist cancellation, or an act of God. In the event of a show cancellation, messaging will go out across all Festival social media platforms, as well as through local media channels, to communicate information about a potential reschedule or relocation of the event. Refunds will be available at the point of purchase only.

Grind City Amphitheater does not allow weapons of any kind in the venue. No patron will be allowed to enter the venue with a weapon. The venue will not secure weapons and will not take responsibility for any weapons left in vehicles. Leave them at home and enjoy the music!

Guests are permitted to bring in One (1) factory sealed bottle of water up to one gallon in size. Refillable clear, plastic water bottles will be permitted, but must be empty upon entering the festival. There will be a water refill station onsite. All outside food & drink is prohibited.
Any guest that is violating venue policy or the law will be ejected from the facility, without refund, at the sole discretion of Venue Management.
In the event of an emergency, Grind City Amphitheater has trained paramedics to assist with medical issues. The First Aid tent is located on the west side of the venue site, opposite the merch tent, on the pathway leading from the entrance to the Main Stage. Venue Security and the Memphis Police Department will be on site for every event. They are in uniform and easily recognizable. In the event of a weather emergency, venue management will communicate with guests that are inside of the facility via the Public Adress system, as well as guests on their way to the venue via social media. Any staff member with a radio can dispatch emergency assistance to the location as needed. If you need help, we’re here for you.
If you need assistance while at an event, please visit our Guest Services tent located on the west side of the venue, opposite the merch tent, on the pathway leading from the entrance to the Main Stage. Right next to the First Aid tent.

No lawn or folding chairs of any kind are permitted at Grind City Amp.

Fans are allowed to bring in blankets and cushions, but any framed seating is not allowed.

If you lose an item while at one of our events, you can visit our Guest Services tent located inside the entry gates near first aid and merch to see if it has been turned in.

Grind City Amphitheater will retain a list of all lost and found items following each event. Email music[at]grindcityamp.com, or click below, in advance to see if your item has been found.

Please do not come to the venue without coordinating a pickup time as we will probably not be there to assist you.

Artist merchandise will be available at our Merch Tent located in the North Plaza. All artist concert gear is property of the artist. The venue cannot take responsibility related to the craftsmanship or style of any merchandise. Please make sure you check that you have the correct size and there are no defects in the shirt before you walk away from the stand. The venue cannot assist with replacing or refunding any merchandise after the event has ended.

Re-Entry is not permitted. Please ensure that everything needed for the event is brought in at time of entry. If you do leave at any point in the evening – you will not be allowed re-entry without a new ticket.

Please note: If you are ejected from the venue due to a policy violation, re-entry is not allowed.

Venue security is located throughout the facility to ensure a safe and secure environment. All security personnel can assist with any safety concerns. Please visit the Guest Services tent located near the main entrance with any questions, concerns or if any additional assistance is needed.

Heads up, while flush toilets are available as part of the Taproom VIP package, the toilets at Grind City Amp in year one will primarily be portable toilets (commonly referred to as porta potty’s).

  • Selfie sticks, tripods, GoPro mounts and other commercial camera equipment
  • Inflatables of any kind
  • Aerosol containers
  • Any and all professional audio or video equipment
  • Drones and other flying devices
  • Totems, flags, banners
  • Unauthorized/unlicensed vendors are not allowed.
