Grind City Brewing has officially begun work on its long-anticipated outdoor concert venue in Uptown. The project includes a 3,500-seat amphitheater designed to host concerts, comedy shows, and the return of the Grind City Music Festival, all slated to debut in spring 2026. Recent filings with the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development confirm that construction is underway, with local firms UrbanArch Associates and Zellner Construction Services leading design and contracting efforts.
The new venue represents a major expansion for the brewery, which has steadily grown since opening its doors in 2020. With plans to hold 8–12 events each year, Grind City Amp is positioned to strengthen Memphis’ rapidly evolving live entertainment landscape and contribute to the city’s focus on growing its music economy.
